One of the things we love about custom framing original artwork is finding a design that complements each piece without competing with it. These paintings range from intimate portraits to colorful cultural scenes, and each called for its own unique presentation.

For several of the pieces, we used float frames, creating a subtle space around the canvas that allows the artwork to appear as though it’s floating within the frame. Others called for a more traditional frame that beautifully complements the colors, texture and character of the painting.

Congratulations to Larry Walker on the unveiling of his incredible new statue outside Coors Field — a fitting tribute to one of the greatest players in Rockies history and a member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame!

The Cruise Room by Andre Lippard

It was great seeing Andre Lippard and his incredible artwork featured on the cover of Denver Westword yesterday!

We were thrilled to have the opportunity to custom frame his striking image of Denver’s iconic Cruise Room. For this piece, we used color-core acid-free matting, museum glass and an Art Deco-inspired frame by Framer’s Inventory — a perfect complement to the bold colors and unmistakable style of the artwork.
