Looking to make a unique statement on your walls? Articles of clothing provide another framing option. In addition to the Asian robe shown here, sports jerseys, baby clothes, a souvenir t-shirt from a concert, a vintage swimsuit and more can be framed…even a wedding dress!

Symmetry

Many of us hang framed art symmetrically, but there are good reasons not to do so. In this case, hanging the left picture higher than the one on the right offsets the height of the lamp on the right. also, the black door weights down that side of the room so placing the left frame higher “lifts” away some of the heaviness.

Mat Borders Fill Up Space!

When art is being framed to be displayed on a wall without furniture below it, generously proportioned mat borders, with a bottom-weighted border or elongated top and bottom borders will help the art fill the volume of wall space.

Happy Earth Day, friends! Did you know that one of  FastFrame of LoDo’s most popular frame lines is made from recycled materials? We also carry a special line of frames where if purchased, the manufacturer plants a tree! We also make it a point to recycle all unused scrap materials, and we donate what can be used to local school art programs! It’s our small way of making sure our environmental impact is minimal!
